Everything you might want to know before you upload a bill.
Ideally, three things: your provider bill (from the hospital or doctor), your Explanation of Benefits (EOB, from your insurance company), and your insurance plan summary. You can start with just a bill — we'll work with what you have and tell you if more documents would improve the audit.
Most audits complete in under 2 minutes. Complex bills with many line items may take slightly longer. You'll see real-time progress as we work through your documents.
Then you'll get peace of mind. We'll confirm that the charges match your EOB and coverage, and you can pay your bill with confidence. But statistically, most bills have at least one issue worth investigating.
Yes. Take a clear photo of each page and upload it. Our system extracts the text and data automatically. PDFs work too, of course.
Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. They're used only to produce your audit report and are not shared with any third party. We take your health data privacy seriously.
Billing errors are well-documented and providers are required to correct them. When you contact a provider or insurer with specific findings — wrong CPT codes, charges above allowed amounts, duplicate billing — they have a legal obligation to review and adjust. Our reports give you the evidence and language to make that process straightforward.
